Notice of Adoption:
Module Local Law
In accordance with s 29(6) of the Queensland Local Government Act 2009, notice is hereby given that the Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council, at Ordinary Monthly Council Meeting on 15th July 2010 duty adopted the Model Local Law, noting that Local Laws 1 and 7 were revised on 23 May 2022.
The Local Law shall be referred to as the Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Local Law 2010 and this Law replaces all previous Community By-Law issued and adopted before the said date.
The Completed text of the Local Law is available during normal hours at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council, and C/o Post Office Lockhart River Q 4871 and also on the Council website at www.lockhart.qld.gov.au
