Beaches in the Shire
The coastline off Lockhart River boasts some of the most pristine beaches in Australia. Teeming with wildlife, the beautiful sandy beaches and their azure blue waters are traditional sources of food for the Lockhart River community.
Quintell Beach is only two kilometres from Lockhart and one of its best kept secrets is the running of the Blue Salmon each year between May and August.
